Order Turn Around Time
Each business day at 8am (mountain time) we generate the day's pick lists and production schedules from the orders in the queue at that time. Everything that's in stock will ship that day. Kits, kitpacks, designer ringsets, tools, components and most ring sizes are always in stock so most orders ship within 24 hours. If the items you're ordering are in stock and you place your order before 8am, your order will ship the same day.
If it happens that the stock level of a particular ring size won't cover your order, we make those rings that day and they ship the next day. So if you place an order between 8am Monday and 8am Tuesday, your order will ship on Tuesday if everything is in stock and Wednesday if something you ordered is not in stock.
Our current standard turnaround time, as described above, is what used to be our Rush Service, back when our normal order turnaround time was 4-5 business days. Rush Service no longer appears on the site as an option simply because Rush Service is now our standard service for every order at no charge. If you need your order very quickly, please choose one of the faster shipping options, such as UPS Overnight or 2Day and, in the comments field of your order, note your 'need by' date and what you'd like us to do if it's impossible to meet. For example, if you place an order before 8am on Wednesday and you'd like it to arrive on Thursday so you can take it on vacation, choose UPS Overnight shipping and note that you'd like the order on Thursday but if that isn't possible, to change your shipping option to UPS Ground. If we have your items in stock, we'll ship them that same day via UPS Overnight and you'll have them for your trip. If some rings are out of stock and so won't be available for shipping until Thursday, we'll ship them via UPS Ground and refund the price difference. We can always collect less than you authorize on your card when you place an order but we can't collect more... so if you choose a slow shipping option and note that you need the order fast, time is lost while we contact you to arrange for the additional payment. Sometimes the time lost makes the difference in whether it's possible to meet your deadline.
If order processing or shipping time could extend beyond the norm -- such as when we've just returned from a holiday period and have a large backlog of orders to catch up or when we know shipping delays are occurring, due to a snowstorm, holiday order volume, etc. -- we'll post a notice to that effect at the top of every page on the site and an explanation of the delay on our News page.
